Dr. Iman S. Labib received her D.M.D. Certificate of Advanced Studies in Endodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2001 and 2004, respectively. She lectured on her research study, “Allergenicity of gutta-percha and the potential sensitization from latex products.” Her training covered all advanced aspects of conventional and surgical endodontics, including using high-tech instruments and the microscope.
Dr. Labib has been a clinical instructor in the Department of Endodontics at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine on both pre-doctoral and post-doctoral levels.
Dr. Labib is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Association of Endodontists. She is also a fellow of the International College of Dentists. She served as past president of the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists and the Boston University Endodontic Alumni Association president. Dr. Labib has been in private practice since 1989 after receiving her B.D.S. and Higher Dental Diploma in endodontics and restorative dentistry from Cairo University in 1989 and 1992, respectively.
