Our prevention plan was created to support individuals who do not have dental insurance. Studies show that oral health is linked to overall health. The dpb Prevention Program allows greater access to dental care, providing a solid and lasting foundation for your oral health. Participation in such a program can help you maintain your overall health and keep your winning smile!

This is not an insurance plan and cannot be used in conjunction with any dental insurance or other dental plan.

Guidelines for dpb’s Prevention Program:

  • Annual membership fee due in full at time of enrollment
  • Eligibility begins immediately, with no wait period
  • Covered preventive services can be scheduled right away
  • Full payment will be required for non-covered, non-reventive services
  • Savings plan will be honored only at Dental Partners of Boston
  • Savings plan cannot be used with any dental dental insurance or other dental plan
  • Savings plan will not be applied to injuries covered under worker’s compensation
  • Savings plan automatically expires 12 months after enrollment
  • Membership fees are non-refundable (even if the patient later decides not to utilize the remainder of their covered services)

Program Includes:

  • Four adult prophylaxis or periodontal maintenance appointments annually
  • A periodontic examination during each of your prevention program visits
  • All intra-oral imaging required during your prevention program visits
  • Any preventative radiographs (if necessary) during prevention program visits
  • Fluoride application (once annually)
  • Oral cancer screening (twice annually)
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • At-home oral health instructions
